ANTI-DISCRIMINATION LEGISLATION

You must not discriminate against full or part time employees because of colour, race, ethnic or national origin, sex, sexual orientation or marital status, age, their disability or their religious beliefs.

Women and Men are entitled to be paid the same if doing the same or equivalent work, although economic factors affecting the business may justify paying different wages when they are not employed contemporaneously. They must also be treated the same way in relation to employee-related benefits and occupational pension schemes.
